State of Waste Report 2007 - Produced by Total Environment Care

The ability to recycle a maximum amount of material back into the productive economy is an important component of a sustainable society. Unfortunatly this is also a feature that is missing from the Australian economy.

The State of waste report was produced by Total Environment Care a body that has produced many such documents. The contents highlights the need for more infrastructure and capital expenditure to increase the recycling rates through MBI's (market based instruments)

Queensland is one of Australia's largest waste producers yet we are the worst recyclers.
